Warlingham Park School pioneered the development of technology at primary school level, showing the value of practical work, even with very young children, but always with the rest of the curriculum, especially the basics of reading, writing and numeracy. Every child from the age of three has time set aside for lessons in the workshops and with the computers.
The school is set in its own grounds and occupies a purpose built site. It is an independent school for girls and boys from the two year olds in the play-group up to the age of 11 and entry is currently available into most classes.
Sport, music and drama combine to play an important part in the all round education of the children at the school, as do a range of extra-curricular activities that can be enjoyed after school hours.
Warlingham Park School is run along traditional prep school lines with an emphasis placed on sound knowledge of basic work and the development of the pupil's character and self-confidence. Within the school a friendly and caring atmosphere is maintained by the experienced and dedicated staff.
Children are prepared for entry to all the local Public schools, as well as the maintained sector.
